BMG Secures Largest Sponsorship in History for Downers Grove Park District
While focusing on making connections with local businesses in Downers Grove, BMG utilized both well-established as well as new channels for outreach efforts which helped to negotiate many sponsorship deals. This brought previously undiscovered revenue into the park district and one of them ended up being the largest in history!
BMG secured an annual partnership with a local bank who pledged financial support to the Recreation Center. This included strong branding and promotional messaging on the gym partitions, hallway walls, ATM machine, exercise equipment, in-house television sets and more. The park district management and staff worked diligently with local vendors who supplied the proper graphics and signage to complete the fulfillment.
While BMG does work very hard to focus most of our efforts on developing new revenue streams for the park district there are many activities and other services that we also offer the park district. For example, we offer timely and consistent consultation to DGPD management and staff. We also work to maintain "event anchors" for special all-staff events, the Summer Concert Series, Harvest Fest and the Golf Club. These include time and energy spent developing in-kind donations as well as attending various events at park district facilities to manage fulfillment, customer relationships and quality control.
Downers Grove Marketing Materials
BMG worked closely with DGPD staff to develop a brand-new Marketing Kit which has been used in the general solicitation and development process. The materials include a branded pocket folder, promotional inserts, sponsorship/advertising application and more. The kit is professional and is something BMG is proud to share when developing new relationships within the local corporate community. We also worked with DGPD staff to upload this new information on the website so it could be accessed more efficiently and sustainably on the sponsorship and advertising sections.
